The recent MARINA 6th General Assembly & Kick-Out Meeting was hosted by Project Coordinator Offshore Monitoring Limited (OSM) on Wednesday, 29th November 2023 in Limassol, Cyprus.
The day-long agenda encompassed a comprehensive overview of significant milestones achieved throughout the project’s duration, including Project Overview, Work Packages (WP) Status Report, and an exploration of the work done by the Partners to meet end-users’ expectations, incorporating major deviations in WPs 1-6.
The meeting began with a focus on the suite’s technical status in software by OSM, followed by presentations on hardware by Hjelmstad AS (HAS), and then an outline of commercialization plans led by Ladar Limited (LDR) and Global Maritime Services Limited (GMS).
The presentation series ended with Jorgen Grindevoll, CEO of LDR, giving a detailed demonstration of the current LadarTM Sensor Suite technology. Presentations delivered by Project Partners were instrumental in providing deep insights into the future trajectory of the LadarTM Sensor Suite as the next evolution of maritime security solutions.
This gathering not only shed light on the progress made but also laid the groundwork for strategizing the path forward for the LadarTM Sensor Suite within the maritime security landscape, emphasizing its pivotal role and potential impact.
